Friday and Saturday, April 28 & 29, 2017 : National Astronomy Days! Ettrick, Wisconsin, G-E-T School Forest. 11:00am – 2:00pm, solar viewing; 7:00pm- very late, a night under the stars. Join us at the G-E-T School District’s observatory, in conjunction with the LCAAS (La Crosse Area Astronomical Society). Open to the public, Paul and other members of the astronomy club will share views of objects in the night sky using a variety of telescopes.
Thursday, July 13: Wild Rose; Patterson Memorial Library. Two (or three) planetarium presentations in the morning.
Wautoma Public library. Two planetarium presentations: 3:00 and 4:15.
Friday, July 28: Ripon Public Library. Star Party at Riggs County Park, starting around dusk.
August, 2017: Paul will be on the road, heading toward the mountain West to view the total eclipse of the sun on the morning of August 21.
